Community Challenge Rules
As our community grows, so do the rewards. Here's what you can unlock!
How It Works
The Community Challenge tracks the total number of unique registered players on F1 Grid Game. As the community reaches the milestones below, we’ll unlock bigger prize tiers for the seasonal leaderboards.
- The user count is refreshed approximately every 24 hours.
- Once a milestone is reached, the corresponding prize tier is locked in for the rest of the current season and announced on this page and our official channels.
Eligibility
- 18+ only. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher).
- One person = one account. Multiple accounts by the same person are not allowed.
- The Challenge is void where prohibited by law. You are responsible for ensuring your participation is legal in your location.
- Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of the F1 Grid Game team may be ineligible for prizes.
Account & Verification
To keep things fair and prevent fraud:
- We may require identity and/or humanity verification (e.g., email/phone verification, CAPTCHAs, risk checks, proof of identity/age) before awarding prizes.
- We may use automated systems to detect bots, duplicate accounts, VPN abuse, scripted play, or suspicious activity.
- Accounts flagged as inauthentic or violating these rules may be disqualified and removed from the user count.
- We may request additional documents to verify age, residency, and eligibility before prize distribution.
Milestones & Prize Tiers
When total registered, verified users reach these thresholds, the listed prize tiers unlock for the Seasonal Leaderboards:
- 1,000 players → Prizes for Top 3
- 10,000 players → Prizes for Top 10
- 100,000 players → Prizes for Top 25
- 500,000 players → Weekly prizes unlocked
- 1,000,000 players → Prize pool significantly increased
Important: Exact prize types, values, and distribution methods will be published once a milestone is reached, subject to verification of player counts and compliance checks. We reserve the right to adjust prize structures to comply with applicable laws and platform policies.
General Terms
Scoring & Leaderboards
Seasonal standings are calculated from games played during the active season window (see “Season” in the site footer or FAQ). Ties, streak rules, and tiebreakers (e.g., fastest solve) are defined in the Leaderboard FAQ and may be updated for clarity.
Fair Play & Disqualification
We want a fun, competitive environment. The following may lead to disqualification and/or account removal: Automated play (bots, scripts, headless browsers), mass account creation, or use of stolen/fake identities; Exploiting bugs, manipulating APIs, tampering with submissions, or other abusive behavior; Harassment or any violation of our Terms of Service.
Prize Claims & Taxes
Winners will be contacted via the email associated with their account. If a winner cannot be reached or fails verification within 14 days, the prize may be forfeited. Prizes are non-transferable and may be substituted with equivalents of similar value at our discretion. Taxes, fees, and reporting (if any) are the winner’s responsibility.
Data & Privacy
Verification data is used only to confirm eligibility and prevent abuse, in line with our Privacy Policy. We may publish winner display names and country/region for transparency; you consent to reasonable publicity if you win.
Changes & Enforcement
We may update these Rules to improve fairness or comply with legal requirements. Material changes will be posted here. We reserve the right to pause or cancel the Challenge if technical or legal issues arise, or if abuse materially impacts fairness.
A Note From Us
F1 Grid Game is a fan-made project built out of passion for Formula 1 and its amazing community. We want to give something fun and rewarding back to the fans, but please understand that our resources are limited. Every milestone we unlock together helps us reinvest into better prizes and features.
